Unified Design for Outreach

2025 -Marketing Materials, Social Media, Templates

During my internship with the Military Families Center (MFC), I served as Project Manager for the redesign of outreach and communication materials. The main challenge was navigating complex branding requirements across three departments: MFC, Austin Community College (ACC) Marketing, and the Visual Communication (VISCOM) program, while revising the MFC Welcome Kit and creating new promotional assets.

I coordinated collaboration between departments using Miro, Canva, and Google Drive to manage timelines and feedback. When a previous logo design was abandoned, I led multiple rounds of revisions to align with ACC branding and update existing materials. The final deliverables balanced ACC’s visual standards with MFC’s identity, featuring photography, bold typography, and geometric cutouts. The redesigned Welcome Kit, social media flyers, and templates were approved by ACC Marketing, and I developed a user guide to help MFC staff maintain brand consistency moving forward.
